Bazuband Cuff - Gold and Orange
The tribal Rajasthan armlet called a bazuband is made of white metal and dipped in 22ct gold. The workmanship and methods employed to produce these masterpieces are unique to a handful of highly talented jewellers in Bihar.
The flexible cuffs are tied together with an orange cotton cord that fastened with a cotton button. They are originally worn just above the elbow, one on each arm, but is often worn as a bracelet.
Once tied the bracelet is 17 cm -6,69 in- (inner perimeter). It's 4 cm wide (1,57 in).
We carry a variety of these bracelets in silver and gold with different cotton thread colors. Please call the store to inquire about other colors and additional images.
