Gorgeous vintage hand-woven kilim originating from West Anatolia in Turkey. 

Kilims are flat woven, as opposed to a knotted pile rug. Artisans weave horizontal weft and vertical warp threads on a loom.

Kiilims date back centuries, and they are known for their bright, vibrant saturated colors and striking geometric motifs. 

The composition is wool, produced in the 20th century. The rich color palette shows a Cengel symbol, a motif to protect against the evil eye.
