We have a small selection of vintage suzanis from Samarkand, Uzbekistan.

Traditionally this embroidery work began at the birth of a daughter and continued with the help of family and friends, until the bride's dowry was complete. Once used as coverlets for the bridal bed, now coveted by interior designers and decorators.  They are most commonly used as wall hangings and bedspreads.  

The vintage piece in these particular colors (beiges and pinks) in this size of this quality are becoming increasingly difficult to to find and they have become extremely rare.  

Each suzani is one-of-a-kind, backed with cotton backing and loops for hanging.  They are vintage items there may be minor flaws or slight imperfections.
