Gorgeous mid-century era hand-woven kilim originating from Anatolya in Turkey. Whenever we see these we buy them.

Kilims are flat woven, as opposed to a knotted pile rug. Artisans weave horizontal weft and vertical warp threads on a loom. This style is especially textured with a thick embroidered pattern throughout. 

Kilims date back centuries, and they are known for their bright, vibrant saturated colors and striking geometric motifs. 

The composition is wool, produced in the 20th century.
